US to impose visa ban on China officials denying access to Tibet

The US Senate has passed a crucial bipartisan legislation, ‘The Reciprocal Access to Tibet Act’, that seeks to impose a visa ban on Chinese officials who deny American citizens, government officials and journalists access to Tibet, the Himalayan homeland of the exiled Dalai Lama. The bill now heads to the White House for US President Trump to sign into law.
