India makes big push to expand tea export to China

China produces green tea with an annual production of 2,550 million kg while India produces 1,278 million kgs of black tea annually. Surveys in both countries show that young Chinese like black tea while Indian markets have witnessed a new emphasis on green tea. This opportunity to further expand trade with China is definitely a win-win situation for both.
